Please NOTE: Players MUST first try out for the Rep team and be RELEASED by the Rep Coach BEFORE trying out for the AE team.

Sign up/fee payment ($50) dates are:
April 15th 7-9 pm (TMHI Board Room)
April 17th 12-3 (during the banquet)
April 21st 7-9 pm (TMHI Board Room)

Tryout procedures (from January 27th minutes)

1- Tornado Rep Tryouts - in April In the 2010-2011 season, Brantford AAA tryouts are in the spring for some divisions. The Motion to have TMHI Tryouts in the spring carried, at the January 18th meeting. We will arrange a meeting with coaches reviewing changes pre tryouts.
Tornado Rep Hockey will begin tryouts in the spring for divisions Novice to Bantam. Due to junior tryouts, Midget will remain in the fall. The dates for Midget will be arranged. The Memorial ice pad will be removed April 18. We will use CC only. Tryouts will run April 26/10 to approx. May 7th/10. Complete by May 14. Caledonia Minor Hockey will participate in exhibition games for tryouts 1 home, 1 away. For Rep tryouts each division will get 4 ice times for tryouts, plus 2 exhibition games. Coaches will select a minimum of 9 skaters and 1 goalie during the spring tryout. The coach must report to the Board the names of those players selected in the spring. The coach may release players that he does not want to see in the fall. He will invite players that he wants to see again in the fall. Coaches cannot release any player in the fall who they confirmed were selected for the team in the Spring. To complete rep teams in the fall, there will be one tryout (the week of Sept 7th/10), plus two exhibition games. This will allow the coach to choose players for the remainder of the positions on the team as well accommodate the unexpected such as players who move to the area over the summer.

2- AE Tryouts - AE tryouts will start approx. Sept 10 after final Rep selection in Fall. The number of ice times scheduled for a/e tryouts will depend on the expected number of players trying out.

3- Lightning Tryouts - Discussed Spring vs. fall tryouts. Megan to do some research and present at next meeting

4- Local League - We have a lot of time to plan before next season. 2 evaluation skates and one exhibition game with other T-burg teams. IP will start after Thanksgiving - firm up with new Board Members.
